The Edge of Reason - Melinda Snodgrass Dear Urban Fantasy,

Why is it all vampires and fae with you all of the time when there is so much perfectly good modern mythology to interweave with the modern world? What's with all the glossing over of the complexity of human sexuality and consent in favor of the artificial melodrama of nonsensical love triangles? Why don't you ever give your strong female characters advanced degrees and experience?

In other words, why aren't you doing more of this?

If you were, I would totally forgive you for things like chapter breaks in the middle of action sequences. Really, I would.
